This course is designed for students who are going to take the mathematics exam, and deals with key topics that recur across several fields of study.

The selection of topics has been made to meet as many students as possible, with a focus on material that is common to several courses and fields of study.

The course instructor does not know the content of the specific exam, and the course is arranged by NITO independently of NTNU. The goal is to provide better understanding, overview and confidence in the run-up to the exam.

 

Course instructor

Øystein Grøndahl has over 15 years of experience teaching mathematics, physics, programming and related subjects in higher education. He is known for explaining the material in a clear and structured way, with a focus on making the essence clear and reducing misunderstandings.
