Lunch lecture from NITO BFI Pathology - experience with the introduction of digital pathology

In this lunch lecture, Silje Nysted Hagen will share experiences from the implementation of digital pathology at the University Hospital of North Norway. She will provide insight into what had to be in place before the introduction could be carried out, including standardization of work processes, technical and organizational facilitation, as well as collaboration between different professional groups.

It will also be highlighted how the implementation has affected the workflow at the laboratory, what challenges arose along the way, and what benefits have been seen in terms of collaboration, accessibility and efficiency. Through the lecture, there will also be reflections on change processes, technological development and how the road will be forward.

After the lecture, the participants are invited to discuss and exchange experiences. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions in the meeting chat
