Workshop Wednesday 18 November

All participants will go through all four workshops. Participants are expected to prepare with sent material and bring experiences from their own workplace.

The conference provides counting hours in specialist approval for biomedical laboratory scientists.

Practical information

Time: Network meeting on Tuesday 17 November. Registration and poster exhibition from 9.00 am, conference start at 10.00 am. Closing at 17.30.

Workshops on Wednesday 18 November. Registration from 8.15 am, programme start at 8.30 am. Closing at 15.00

Location: Scandic Fornebu

Joint social event

You are invited to a joint social event with an aperitif and dinner on Tuesday evening. Aperitif is served in the mingle area in the course hall. Participation requires your own registration. Price NOK 750 excl. VAT VAT.

*A VAT surcharge of 25 percent is invoiced on the serving of food and beverages. The prices include lunch, coffee/tea and break food.  

Accommodation

Hotels are booked by the individual participant. NITO has a contract price at Scandic Fornebu to NOK 1450 per room, per night incl. VAT and breakfast. Rooms can be booked on www.scandichotels.com booking code: BBFIXXXX. Remember to make sure you book for the right hotel and for the right date. 

Poster exhibition 

A poster exhibition on the topic of quality work in medical laboratories is invited in connection with the network meeting. Read more about how to create posters for courses and conferences:

Deadline for submission of abstract: 1 October 2026. Abstract is sent . Participation with posters requires registration for the course. Remember to apply to BFI's study fund for scholarship funds.

Cancellation

If you cancel one of our professional courses or conferences after the registration deadline, a fee of 20 percent of the course or conference price will be charged. In case of cancellation later than three working days before the event, or in case of no-show, the full course fee will be invoiced.  To cancel a course, send an e-mail to
