Collective agreements in the state

On this page, you will find collective agreements and special agreements for those who work in the state.

NITO and Akademikerne

NITO is a member of Akademikerne-stat and is covered by all central agreements to which Akademikerne is a party, in the same way as the other associations in Akademikerne.

Basic Collective Agreement

In the Basic Collective Agreement, you will find rights and rules related to wages and other financial rights. It contains everything about job placement, salary ladder, local salary negotiations and pension schemes. The agreement provides a framework for how salary development should take place both centrally and locally at your workplace.

The Basic Collective Agreement between Akademikerne and the State

Protesters hold up a sign with the text "WE WANT TO KEEP OUR AGREEMENT!", which illustrates Akademikerne's strike in 2024 to preserve the main collective agreement in the state.

The main agreement

The main agreement gives you the right to co-determination in the workplace and regulates the cooperation between employees and management. It ensures that you are heard in matters that affect your work situation. Here you will also find provisions on employee representatives, personnel policy and how restructuring is to be handled.

The Basic Agreement for State Employees

Three employees in a meeting room, one of them points to a computer screen to explain something to his colleague. Symbolizes co-determination and communication between management and employees.
